Dancers in the Parks Bloopers
And don’t forget to check out our first ten sessions at Dancers in the Parks.
Holland Rink Playground – Courtney Sutherland
Another chilly morning, this time with very wet grass that quickly resulted in that squishy in the socks feeling. Holland Rink Playground shows no signs of a rink of any sort, ever since Interstate 290 cut through the city and took a good portion of this park with it. Only a slide, a couple of swing sets, basketball courts, and a baseball field remain.

Cristoforo Colombo Park – Rachele Perla
Bright sun is always difficult to work with, but I think we used it to our advantage under the bandshell at Cristoforo Colombo Park.

Ramshorn Island Park – Emily Glick
Emily braved the crumbling RT 9 bridge over Lake Quinsigamond to get this fun shot at Ramshorn Island Park.

Burncoat Park – Courtney Costa
Thanks to Courtney for being the second dancer for the Dancers in the Parks series. It was a chilly and very damp morning when we began the shoot at Burncat Park, and she performed bravely and beautifully.

Dodge Park-Emily Stomski
The first session was at Dodge Park, where the Asian Beetle infestation decimated what was formerly a heavily wooded park.
