While on The Secret Sojourn, we spent one day at Yosemite National Park. I was, of course, familiar with Ansel Adams’ work at Yosemite, but was unprepared for the profound emotional response I had when we pulled off onto one of the road’s lookouts on the way in to Yosemite Valley. I’ve been to Glacier and Rocky Mountain National Parks, but this place was overpowering. Even with only a day, I can see why this place inspired Adams toward a career in photography and conservation.

Profits from the sales of the following prints will be donated to the Salem Covenant Church youth group.
