Yosemite

While on The Secret Sojourn, we spent one day at Yosemite National Park. I was, of course, familiar with Ansel Adams’ work at Yosemite, but was unprepared for the profound emotional response I had when we pulled off onto one of the road’s lookouts on the way in to Yosemite Valley. Even with only a day, I can see why this place inspired Adams toward a career in photography and conservation.
