Light Painting


Yes, it’s been done before, but this is my first attempt.

    I figured out how you wrote the word “light”, but how did you expose and not blur your face. Very Cool.

    I faced the camera and used the flashlight to write out the word Light, turning it off and on to cross the T. Then I tried to reposition my face where the dot of the I should be and “painted my face for a few seconds with the flashlight. It was difficult enough to write the word in the regular direction, let alone as a mirror image, so I just wrote it as if I were writing on a large blackboard (that’s an old-fashioned white board for you whipper-snappers), then reversed the image in Photoshop.
